How to deal with Tough Times!

Sometimes life presents us with situations that take a toll on us physically and emotionally, it could be someone dear to you falling sick or any other situation.

So what do you do when you start feeling overwhelmed and start falling sick yourself too.

Let me tell you what I do!

1. Prioritise on what is important and focus on select things or activities because you have to preserve your limited energy to tackle most important things up front!
2. Slow down and cut down on all other energy consuming activities. Sometimes even your workouts.
3. Go for a walk for 10-15 minutes because it is important to have some sort of physical activity and it is important to remain active.
4. Spend some time in nature to recharge yourself and clear out all negative energy that you consume consciously and subconsciously and soak yourself up in some positive good environment.
5. Try to eat healthy and good as much as possible because when we eat too much junk out of emotional eating, it can have a toll on our health.
6. Listen to positive music as much as possible so that you don't succumb to negative atmosphere and get more drained.
7. Reach out to those who give you positivity and strength and help you become better.
8. Rest! Make sure you catch up on proper sleep if you are not able to sleep 7 hours at a stretch.
9. Make sure to pamper your skin, even if it is just for 5 minutes.
Self care gives you back your power to deal with not so good situations.
10. Try to stay as positive as possible and surround yourself with things that make you happy so that you can pass on that positivity to those who need it.
